Lavenderbeat: Clare Kelly, born in Glasgow in 1984, is primarily an artist - currently drumming for Scottish indie band, Suspire. A first-class honours graduate (2010) from the BA Commercial Music programme at The University of the West of Scotland (UWS), now embarking on the MA Music: Innovation & Entrepreneurship programme, also at UWS. Founded multi-arts initiative, One Creative Scotland, in 2008 - (not to be confused with funding body, 'Creative Scotland') - which aims to bring together and celebrate new music, new visual art and new short film, in Scotland. Keen participator in community music events as a panel speaker, workshop leader and general organisational aide.
